Named after the epic of Bicol
Tierra de Ibalon Travel and Tours Inc. was born in Naga City from a belief that the Bicol Region deserves its own storyteller. We took our name from Ibalon — the ancient homeland of Baltog, Handiong, and Bantong, heroes of Bicol's oldest folk epic.
The name carries a meaning we work to live up to every day: people who are hospitable and give visitors gifts to bring home. For nearly three decades we have carried that spirit far beyond Bicol — into every tour we run, every vehicle we dispatch, and every traveller we bring home safely.
Today we are a full-service travel agency, a tourist land transport operator, and an airline ticketing office — designing journeys the length of the country, from the rice terraces of northern Luzon, through the islands of the Visayas, to the surf of Siargao in Mindanao. As a travel agency, we design and operate tour packages across the Philippines — our Bicol flagships (Caramoan, Mayon, Donsol, CamSur, Calaguas, Naga), plus Palawan, the highlands of northern Luzon, the Visayas (Boracay, Cebu, Bohol), and Mindanao (Siargao, Davao, Camiguin).
As a tourist land transport operator, we run buses, coaches, and vans for hire — airport and terminal transfers, multi-day tour transport, corporate and call-centre shuttles, and group charters. Our own fleet travels from our Bicol base across Luzon and, by roll-on/roll-off ferry, as far as the Visayas and Mindanao.
As an airline ticketing office, our staff book domestic and international flights — so your flights and your ground arrangements are handled by the same team, in one conversation, rather than pieced together across separate bookings.
