1. About these terms
These Terms & Booking Conditions govern bookings and services provided by Tierra de Ibalon Travel and Tours Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By submitting an enquiry, confirming a booking, or joining a tour, you agree to these terms.
2. Bookings & confirmation
An enquiry through this website, WhatsApp, email, or social media is a request, not a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only once we have acknowledged availability in writing and any required deposit has been received. Please review your confirmation carefully and tell us promptly of any errors.
3. Pricing & payment
- Prices are quoted in Philippine Pesos (₱) and are confirmed at the time of booking.
- Rates may vary with group size, season, fuel costs, and third-party fees.
- A deposit may be required to secure a booking, with the balance due before the trip date as stated in your confirmation.
- Bookings made through any third-party online travel platform are also subject to that platform's terms.
4. Cancellations & changes
Cancellation and rebooking conditions, including any deposit forfeiture or fees, will be set out in your booking confirmation. We ask for as much notice as possible. Some third-party costs (such as boats, permits, and accommodation) may be non-refundable once committed.
5. Weather, safety & itinerary changes
Many of our experiences depend on sea, weather, and natural conditions. For your safety, we may adjust, shorten, reschedule, or cancel an itinerary — including island hopping and water activities — on the advice of local authorities, boat operators, or guides. Wildlife sightings, including whale sharks, are never guaranteed.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate booking information and arrive on time for pickups.
- Disclose relevant medical conditions, dietary needs, or mobility requirements.
- Follow the reasonable instructions of guides, drivers, and crew, and respect local rules, communities, and the environment.
- Ensure you have appropriate travel insurance; we strongly recommend it for all guests.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care in arranging and operating your trip. To the extent permitted by Philippine law, we are not liable for loss, injury, delay, or damage arising from events beyond our reasonable control, or from the acts or omissions of independent third-party suppliers. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Accreditation
Tierra de Ibalon Travel and Tours Inc. is accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT), registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and listed on PhilGEPS.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and any disputes shall be subject to the appropriate courts of Camarines Sur.
